A small dosing pump delivers some
of the nutrients round the clock (and replaces some evaporated water as well).
The liquid comes in (top tube) from a stock solution made up weekly and is pumped
through the blue tube to the tank.
A dosing pump is strictly a convenience and not a necessity for a planted
tank.
